Vista Quick Tip: Create an Elevated Command Prompt
Have you ever ran command prompt with Windows Vista and it tells you that you have to run it as administrator even though you are the administrator? That is annoying if you ask me. Well There is a quick way to make a shortcut to remedy this.
Create a shortcut on your desktop and in the dialog box type in cmd. After you do that give the shortcut a name of course then go to your shortcut properties. From there just check “run as administrator” then when you run this shortcut you don’t have to go to the trouble of typing cmd in your search, then right clicking on it, then checking “run as admin” every time.
